[SA] Adelaide Cruise Sunday 27th July - 2008

Hey all, i think its about that time for an astina cruise.

I haven't got much up my sleeve, just the usual run that i tend to do to Lobethal via Old Northern Summit onto Adelaide Lobethal Rd. Very Straight forward, and very twisty and fun.

Those who have been up these roads before will know how interesting and fun it can be, and those who haven't are in for a treat.

Ill keep it simple:

Meet - Hackney Road Car Park - Just Outside the Botanic Gardens
Time - 6:30pm
Date - 27th / July / 2008 - (as the title suggests)

Bring friends if you can and/or wish. It isn't an astina exlusive, ill have some Preludes there along with a variety of things as well so feel free to bring anyone in anything.

Attendees: - note the following have been invited, they may not actually be able to be there on the day.

1/ RedLineResident - Miki - BA V6 Astina - coming
2/ 99 Prelude VTIR - coming + (may be bringing R32 along)
3/ 96 Prelude - away
4/ 83 Supra Celica (1JZ transplant) - blown turbo's
5/ GTR Familia - ?
7/ Swift GTi - shot gearbox

8/ Turbo BG - coming
9/ 95 Supra (NA) - coming
10/ 96 Prelude - coming (may not be driving) + (may be bringing R34 GTR along)
11/ 02-KQ-LSR - ?
12/ Tenchu GTR - ?
13/
14/
15/

Ok lets get this off the ground.

2 Weeks is more than enough time to organize a cruise, and its been too long since ive actually been on a cruise with another astina, not to mention on a cruise with more than one astina.

but then again im bias, ive had a ride in lachy's GTR and that just blew my mind.

Oh damn,

Just realised Sun 27th is the 2nd day of AVcon (anime & videogames convention) & I already bought a two day pass for it.

Will see what happens. Probably could get to the meetup but will go home right after. I'll most likely be tired & hungry by then.

Does the convention go into the evening as well?

We start this thing at 6:30pm, leave 7pm and should be back to adelaide by 9pm.

If you can't make it don't stress, but would've been good to have one of your two zippy cars along.

i might be hanging there for the auctions, but might be kicking myself if theres no good stuff worth getting.
