Ideas for Personalised Plates
Hey all,
I did a thread search, and there was really only one other thread for ideas for personalised plates, so i figured I would open one up for myself, and anyone else that would need help choosing plates! So I've been trying to think hard on my plates, and any ideas I had are taken. I've tried: 584IRD (SBAIRD) SAM90 SAM42 SAM43 45TINA (ASTINA) 5H1F7Y (SHIFTY) (I've also tried other derivatives of shifty, to no avail) B0N3R as well, but that was never a serious suggestion lol Would anybody have any good ideas?? On another note, I'm considering buying these for the frame of the plates http://tinyurl.com/c69jfhw Last edited by Samsara; 14-06-2012 at 03:20 PM. |

How much are you willing to pay as many of the ones you have selected are going to cost a lot more as they are the prestige plates and will cost around $2395!!
IMO its too much. |

you guys get it cheap compared to us down in nsw!
we pay $200-$500 to get them payed then an annual fee between $100-$500... my advice, get something thats going to go with everycar so you dont have to get them remade everytime

IMO, get something that you can take from car to car, but in Mats case, from 323 to 323
Also some of those plates wont be available as they are normal issue plates, being numbers followed by letters. Best I have seen on a Mazda 323 was 323AST! SAM323 isnt available, but going off the plates SAM42 & SAM43, there is available SAM442 & 443? Actually here are a couple screenshots of whats available from the SAM 3x3 range:

Dam even at $3K - I'd pay that one off. For my plates.
2 years at $350 and 5 years at $400 ? hmm. Oh well. Pick what fits budget and what you want really IMO. For the price who cares really if you get another car - get another plate. $400 odd one off is great IMO. I'd change paltes every year if I could. |

Personally, anything but the stock plates adds class (except maybe EN15 with a p plate stuck in front haha. Saw that on ebay.) and makes the car go from looking modified but plain to wow!. Like tonys astina for example, his plates made the front look loads better, stylish rather than the green one.... I hate the maroon ones too haha.

A Camira with plates of Bimbo or Fugly is still going ot add no class to a Camira. A Westy getting out of a clean 318I BMW will have more class just on the badge over a Camira. But your local Maroon and Green plates are shocking. I think it's the numbers then letters thing. the Standard old green Vic Garden state plates look better. Your Topical QLD ones rock IMO. I know for us blokes B-Day or age no big deal. But my neighbour well she can have the enlarged lips and bits of facelift but I know her plates are her Initials and year of B=date. and 1957 was a long time ago now. |
