changing stud?
How hard is it to change a stud? I noticed it was kinda tricky to get one of my lock nuts on the front left rim. Its not as smooth as the others! Is it expensive to buy a stud?

you might be better just going to a breakers and getting a hub. think you would have to remove the hub anyway, which could be a potential nightmare, then you have to figure out how to remove the stud! have you tried tidying up the threads on the stud with a thread file? if you go carefully then this would probably work.
or take it to an engineering place and ask them to run a thread tap over the stud while it`s still on the car. well worth a try!! |
