rim offset

Hi All,
Is an offset of 45mm ok for a bg? they are 17 x 7.

hey mate i have 17x7's with a +40 offset, i have 215/40/17á and have my guards rolled and they have never scrubbed

They are 17x7, the brand is GP Turismo, got them new of E-Bay for $500 here's a link.

The advertiser offers trade enquiries. My guess is that the pic may be of a more generic rim. I laughed when a 17" rim was sugested for a Mazda 121 (Rx-5 type 121 had 114mm pattern).

Yeah the picture doesn't really do them justice they look big enough in the flesh. Just gotta wait for my tax return to get tires for the suckers.
