I moved into my house over the weekend and I can only get out the driveway if I go at a super angle. Silly low car !

Stupid woman drove into the side of me last night.

Just slowly as she was coming out of a carpark. It was a wet night and she was in a big stupid 4WD so I guess she didn't see me - nor did she hear me beep-beep-beeping my horn as she came towards me !!
Then she tried to tell me my headlights had been off even though I know for sure they were on because I remembered the beeeeeeeep when I turned the car off and opened the door

Got a dent and a scratch just where the front and rear doors meet. Luckily they can still open/close alright .. I think.

Oh but some good news - the Tarago is back !

Someone phoned police that it had been outside their house for a while. Not too far from where I live actually.

Things Dad noticed when he picked it up,

* it was Muddy inside
* had a broken key in the ignition
* the dirty old falling-apart gear boot was gone.
* the glovebox was empty ( it only had the manual and random junk )
* there was a 2004 Melways in the back ( not ours ! )
* the fuel cap was gone and it had no petrol

The cops told dad to get new numberplates because they are nearly illegible.

Why oh why didnt they report it last week so I could have used it to move my stuff over the weekend

LOL Good to hear it's back!

Sucks about the BA though. As for the driveway - i made sure any place i looked at had easy access for both the lowered cars hehe

I've got the rain-X filler bottle additive. That way you don't have to keep re-applying it by hand.

I think if a driveway was low enough for easy access to my car, the water in the gutter would also get in !

I think it will just take a few more tries to work out the right angle/position to get in and out easily.
Its fun having the one wheel hanging in the air as you go in the driveway !

just put a plank of wood down, half the height of the gutter, about 10-20cm wide

I've not done anything today but I will be installing my clear tail lights on my Honda over the weekend. This will be interesting because I'm not allowed any assistance. Paul will merely be monitoring my progress. To tell you the truth, I'm a little scared. First time working on a car and it could go horribly wrong.
