Martin@GroundZero Tinting at blacktown can hook u up with tint for under $200.
Quite popular amongst car forums. u can also try Rob @ Hunters Hill Window Tinting. another well known tinter amongst the modded car scene. you need to book well in advance. pricing...bit dearer than GroundZero. cost me $225 for my MPS. |

ended up getting 30%, thought that it should do fine, not too dark, not too light. i woulda gone like 20% if there were no regulations. But meh. I'll see the true results in the morning under the sun.

bringing another thread up from the dead.
went to tint-a-car in milton as i was driving past today to enquire about tinting. I had 35% done and its barely dark, So i asked him what others they do, basically he said $400 for 20%, tint removed and a touring strip in 5% at the top of the windscreen. thoughts? its a no-named brand, but comes with their lifetime no crack/bubbling/fading/peling etc warranty

See if you can see it in person before you get it, my friend got cheap 20% in his falcon and well... he winds his windows down when he drives at night.
I got the best 35% one available, it doesn't look as dark as other 35% ones, but has a slight silver sheen to it (none of that mirror crap) so you can't see in the car very well and it keeps out a lot of heat. If only I could get it on the windscreen.... Although if you can't get mates rates I think it's worth $400 without removal of old tint, so a bit pricey... |
