the 5x100 pattern has been on all wrx till 06 even the 05 sti is still 5x100, pretty sure its only the newest model that is 5x114.3 and only the sti's
personally i dont think its subaru at all because its not AWD only thing suby in there is the boxer and if its the FJ20 they cant turbo it yet

iv been on http://www.ft86club.com/forums/ since 06/2010, and i LOVE that car. it like the concepts a whole lot better than the current production spec (although i do love the production spec too) one of the memebers from ft86 club was fortunate to actually win the comp toyota had on fb a few weeks back, the price was flights and accomodation in japan, and attandance to the invite only unveiling of the ft86 (now gt86, was a086 as well years back lol) its from him that the 1000 units a year rumor stems, there was a translation error when he (leeky) talked to one of the head engineers for toyota i think that the subarus concept (brz) looks pretty sweet, and i love the fact that the sti concept DOESNT have awd or turbo.. that was a good day, so many little ricers got shut the f up haha the frs was pretty good when it was unveiled (the scion version) but my fav so far was the mk2 in orange in short, i will get one, not straight away but to me this is a slightly smaller rx8, with a much better fuel consumption haha needless to say im excited haha i bought the PS3 because GT5 has the FT86 in it haha. Not joking i do like how the car stayed true to its original concept here is the evolution of the concepts TOYOTA 2009 2010 2011 SCION FRS SUBARU notice that they kept the rims same as of geneva 2010 (mk2) and here is a turbo concept by gazoo racing Last edited by 70NYD; 29-11-2011 at 01:11 PM. |

Not a picture but flipping hell. Skip to 3 minutes for the awesomeness. Hell those things are loud and they sound kinda like a F1 car at high revs.

I love the sound of a PP rotary idling, it's like something wild is in the engine trying to get out.

Mmmmm. Pitroad m have some hot as hell cars. They used to race a lot in japan
The old article on the car is here: http://www.urbanracer.com/articles/anmviewer.asp?a=2711. It used to be 960hp and 708 lb-ft. Apparently its above that (and is easily possible) I wish they'd bring their old time attack car out too

They turn pretty well, low speed sucks a bit but it's a pretty common mitsi trait. They're are popular and reasonably successful at autocross in the states though If you're inclined, you can drop a lot of weight on them. Carbon fibre/kevlar everything if you've got the cash, doors, guards, bonnet, roof, hatch, front rear bars and skirts. The Pitroad M ones are allegedly down to 1250~kg. The new track car is almost 1hp = 1 kg
