they both look stock heights to me??? sure you got the correct springs?

is the rear carrying more weight at the moment? ie- doof box etc. causing slight lower rears?

ryan

p.s. are those federal 595R's on those rims?

Well that's just random then huh??? I'd be asking the supplier to question what you have been given then. As I do not know much regards the Astina or springs in question, I cannot be any help other than that.

THE SUPPLIER IS GREG!!!!!...Ive sent him a PM but he is a bit slow ay....as for what bourbs said, no doof box because of the random thought of getting rid of it....no parcel shelf and no back interior....after seeing these things in action (in lowering aspects) they are meant to lower the car approximately 25-45mm from standard height...my car has risen approximately 20mm from stock height 19 YEARS AGO!!!!
This is why im thinking if the Linear sports lows heighten the car maybe the super lows will do a decent job, i only want like a 25-35mm drop....and since these made the car heigher maybe i might just get that with super lows...
P.S. and yes they are 595R's.....awesome tyre for the money....

Ok guys long story short....Lovell are a bunch of idiots....as is the rest..Whiteline etc... and have made springs that dont actually do as they intended...good old greg was on the case and got to the bottom of it so i thank him first and foremost for helping..apparently most people who have ordered these springs lately have ordered Sports lows rear and super lows front, this is because Lovell have made the springs to suit a Laser and just assumed that the astina was the same...on the box it had Ford Laser but since the cars are close in DNA i thought it would be ok...kinda like Lovell...so much for a short story,,lol...anyway, gregs getting me some super lows for the front which should lower it just enough and provide a good handling experience...all will be done by next Wednesday, im hoping it will sit about 20mm above the tire...stay tuned...

Well good news at the end. I learn my lesson long ago with the same Astina/Laser issue. Hopefully you will be excited by the look by the completion on Wednesday.

suspension is all in guys....the left hand side was a total pain and decided the thread on the strut was going to go uncco....eventually we fixed it and its all good...i hope....OK so eventually me and greg both decided that Lovel Progressive Sports Lows in the Rear and Lovell Linear (despite what greg said) Super Lows for the front...the ride height is now good but i must stress right now that Lovells are not a lowering for looks spring....the tyre is about an inch from the wheel arch but the travel is quite small....the ride quality itself is greatly improved and turn in is awesome....they dont bounce and i think are an all round good spring...still cant figure out how to put in the Camber Bolts....will try l8tr..
