I've been told yes. But I do have some 15s at home that I can test fit just to be sure

Any reason of the choice to go 800m calipers over liberty ones?

As far as i know there two spot and the liberty one are only one spot. also the 800m calipers have a much bigger pad area too. with this combo i use ALL of my dics space. not one mm is not used. i wont even get the usual 1-2mm lip that most people get on there dics as they where down..
plus a mate had done it to his bg before and highy recomended it

yep. but these are different brakes not his old ones.. as he used just those calipers on his v6 hubs and discs and pads from memory..

Cool now I know. But I wasn't very keen on going the RS calipers. Want to keep everything mazda. Also I have a funny feeling that the eunos calipers have a larger pad area then the RS turbo... Ill see if I can find the info

Eunos 800 pads FTW
I am going to be doing a similar thing with my car next year, I wont be going down the Mazda 6 brake route as I have found something that fits easier and requires no modification to the hand brake cables and has a larger pad area than the 6 brakes do. |

Ive been made aware that cx7 rotors/calipers fit the gg/gy 6, and they are bigger again. Will do some more research into it...

yes and no.
havng 2 pistons push the smaller pad might actually give a larger pad to disc surface area than the 800M option. either way matt has increased his braking force by a far bit. 5% larger rotor and then a big piston and pad to boot. good options either way you go. |

It’s been a while since I have updated this. So here goes
I have my Cusco adjustable tops ready to go into tomorrow, I got my 4agze drift shafts reco'd and ready for installation, I bought replacement rally gt4 spec bearings for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th for the Toyota box, Found a Mazda astina wiring manual cheap as chips so I can finish off my engine loom, Bought all my 3 inch mandrel bends for my exhaust, all my flanges, my 200cpsi cat, my x force rear muffler and my middle muffler, Going to paint some parts for the engine bay tomorrow, Also finish modding my vf10 to fit onto my gtx housing. Just need to get some new gaskets for it. picking up my Profec B spec 2 EBC tomorrow aswell. that should keep everything nice (boost whise) while i run the BP26 ecu. I also tested out the front breaks the other night at Mt Nebo, man ow man they work a treat. I don’t think I need a brake bias adjuster as they work perfectly Also still looking for steal wheel nuts, so if anyone knows where to get some please let me know

Did you say 800m calipers sit down on v6 hubs/ no mods?
Did you say mazda astina wiring manual...!!! I would say "i have a firstborn, she'd be good for digging coal and stuff" but that would be in poor taste... but a real wiring manual! |

So under the advice of a member on the forum, i have sent my bp26 head off to be cleaned and stripped down, pressure tested, and port matched. then im taking my series 3 NA head in and they are going to take everything out of it, relap the valves, new shims, check the cams, etc.
so at the end of the day i will have a bg26 head that pressure tested running NA series 3 cams and valves all for much less than $1000. Ordered my bpt gasket kit to. now just to decide to go with the standard head gasket or something else. Have to order new piston rings, main bearings, and big end bearings. to rebuild the bottom end. and thats it.... i think lol so overall ill have a very nice flowing head for my VF10 turbo and a stock bottom end, which should see me get around +200hp. which is all im chasing out of the BPT anyway EDIT: still have decided on what pistons ill be running yet.. the bpt ones (8.2:1) or my na ones (9.0:1). As they pistons are made from the same quality steel. and the rods are the same too. hmmmmm ideas guys???
