took mine for a bit of a cruise today.... went well... i missed driving it!
also started to fix up the scratches on the dash.... but it isnt working as well as i imagined.

got the new sub, amp and head unit all wired up and working on sunday with a mate. pumps nicely, we went for a bass only cruise for a little bit once it was done.

components have got me by the balls though, so its going into the local JB to get those put in on Thursday.

The nice lady at Mazda in Sydney gave it to me for trade price, which was fantastic because it ended up costing me like $30.

near the ignition, below the cluster surround there is a groove thats on the dash that goes around the cluster trim, about an inch below it.
i scratched it a few times working on my cluster. so i got some carbonfibre film and traced it over....

ill upload pics to show you what i did.

i might still trim it a little bit to smoothen it out, but im just glad you cant see the little scratches anymore.

at motoquipe. was pretty cheap too $30 for a roll 30cm by 50cm.

i also took a new pic of it, its dirty as, but i am starting to like the car now. lol

Got the guages in today! Prety bummed bout the holes where the car door light etc comes on, expected em to be the actual cut outs not just a puncture hole :P.. guess the ones at autojoy were the same though

blue! to go with my head deck, but theres a pad with 4 different settings on it so im not 2 sure, it says to just slide em under the needles so probaly just that, will see how i go over the wkend, i wanted to spray the needle bases silver or something
