last week decided to pull apart the dash, get behind the cd player and attach an AUX jack to the back so that I can play songs from the GF's Ipod. works a treat, only downsides are that you have to manually pick your songs from the ipod and charge it still from the pc... Sits nicely in the single din pocket as I drilled a hole for the jack

Cars getting a service on the weekend..

I did a similar thing with my AuxMod install on the factory HU, i ended up putting a stereo jack in the cup holder between the two slots:

I'm preparing to pull the IM off this weekend to lock-tite the VICS butterfly screws and prevent another engine replacement mission!

Got rid of my blue roof light. I'll miss you - but it started to annoy me

Few days late, but I finally bought my car some new shoes on Tuesday. 15 inch Rodney Jane wheels, they look so much better than the hubcaps.

Haha, I have gotten this response from a few people, is there something wrong with Rodney Jane?

IMO

the Rodney Jane wheels - well

it's like this

you have

Top engineered wheels both from Factory car maker and for example Eniki (SP make mazda's and many other jap car and they make aftermarket both very high

same standard as rays

then you have

You others
Simmons - GLOBEs -
they are all top Fit engineered and finish

the Rodney jane fit below.
They are engineered well but finish is lower and it's cost saving same for so called style.

Then you have
The rest of the current aftermarket China/Korea made wheels.
The engineering is a bit questionable and the qulity fit anf finish.

It's only minor things but

for example.

You have LENSO -very good aftermarket value wheel.
the R-Janes are the same yet. You find more people like the look of the LENSO - so the cost is - ? sliglhty higher.

I have a mate who works at Bob Jane Tmarts

He has told me to stay away from RJanes at all cost, due to the fact that they are weak and buckle very easily.

He has seen cars come on endless occassions with dents, buckles, twisted wheels, and all sorts of other horror stories with R Jane wheels. Having said that, some of the roads in adelaide are pretty bad.

Well my headlight was out lastnite, and they are only one month old bulbs, so i took the bulb out, checked the terminals, they were fine (as in they spark when i touch them together :P) and plugged the bulb in, hooked it down and worked fine, not working again today
