Problem With HID install for BJ2 SP20

hey guys
Ive just tried to install my new HID 35w h7 4500k lights Low beams.
Installed one on the passanger side and double checked everything was connected as per instructions (which look different to the actual kit.
Turned headlights on and they worked for a split second then it went out again.
Thought it might be something wrong with the ballast or unit so tried the other one but same thing happened.
Any Ideas as to what the problem could be?
Will post some pics up of the kit and cables etc when I can.
