Definitely a wrap. It protects your paint and if you get sick of it you can peel it off. Plus about a million times cheaper.

If you paint more then 25% or 30% Not sure what the exact number is. You must notify the RTA in NSW, of the additional colour. So then it will be listed on the System.
For those who don't know why, well it's little indiscretion the police like to pick up on. Vinal wrap it, Two tone - air-brush all the other crap. Fine on something you will keep for a long long time. Show car but you will pay for it when you sell the car or realise the FAD is over. Much like when BIG VAULT chromes from Tempe were a thing in 1999. by 2006 you and lancer were just GAY |

If you buy the proper 3M vinyl you wont have problems, its the cheap chinese crap that cracks/rips etc.

With vinyl wrap they have to cut it on the bonnet so would have to have a respray if you take it off. unless u wrap the whole bonnet.

No. It won't look as good. And if they're half decent you will see that they only score the vinyl and rip it off, rather than cutting it, resulting in no scratches. I doubt you'd see a scratch you couldn't polish out though.

The vinyl being cut on the car shouldn't leave a mark at all if done with a sharp blade. The black will fade over time and will lose glossiness. I still think that vinyl is the best option ad yo can change your mind or get over it easily.
Any signage company should be able to do it for you. Also 3M isn't the only decent product. Calon, Avery and Oracal are equally as efficient. Just remember to tell the signage mob that you want 5-7yr vinyl, no 1-3yr crap! |

This. Very few vinyl installers would be dumb enough to actually cut the material while its on the car.

Also remember that when you take the vinyl off you paint will have faded differently.
