im lookin to lower my v6 astina in the next few weeks, what would be the best brand springs for a 2"-2 1/2"(50-60mm) drop. i was thinkin king spings but they dont make the super low springs for the BA, they do for every other model
![]() ive also looked at the whiteline's but i wants them a little lower... and ppl with 2 - 2 1/2" have u had any problems with it been 2 low?? thx pope|z0r

Mate, I lowered mine using the Whiteline Flatout [50mm] lowering springs. As the V6 is already an inch lower you should be pretty right with using the whiteline coils to get the desired look. The good thing about the whiteline coils is that they remain captive at full suspension droop, which you have to have by law. I know that a lot of the spring manufacturers can't guarantee that their's remain captive, but the whiteline coils most definately do.
Take a look at my readers ride to see what mine looks like lowered 50mm on 15" rims. Oh, I have the 1.8L, so expext yours to look slightly lower.. Cheers Adam.

as posted before, the V6 is already an inch lower than 1.5 and 1.8. I myself dropped my V6 40mm with an Eibach Pro_Kit and a lot of comfort left but very good handling upgrade. Eibach now also sells the Sport-Line which would lower your car 50 to 60 mm, but you'll lose a lot more comfort. If you want to drop your car more than 45 mm it's wise to also change the shocks....Combination Eibach springs with Yellow adjustable sport koni's gets very good reviews. mate of mine has it under his VW GOLF TDi and it does drive very nicel must say

i said that the Jap spec 1.8 and aus 1.8 were the same height, contrary to what i'd been told ages ago ![]() And i second the Eibach springs vote. I've got Eibach springs in my Ground Control coilover sleeves, and the ride is still better than astinas with other springs i've been in

Have a look at the picture,
![]() The Hardtop in the center is my 1.8, The Red hatch to the right is a standard height V6, Travs' Noble green hatch to the left is 1.8. I think  Rod The black BJ is not relevant ![]()

re: height diffs.... BG 323F-GT/ Astina SP had a 1" diff between Europe (GT) and Aus (SP), not sure what Japan had. Aus obv was higher. Never saw a visible diff between BA in Aus and Europe.
