Inlet manifold and knock wire

Hi

Just wondering

I have turbocharged my n/a bp mazda and was wondering what defult position the 2 stage inlet manifold was in. Also what is better for my turbo to get more power. Also when the hose is disconnected what position is it in then?

Also on the original loom is there a knock sensor wire? what does it look like?

Thanks if u can help

The BA 1.8 doesn't have a knock sensor, instead it has a conservative ignition curve.
Mazda only put the VICS (VRIS DEI) device on NA cars, on a turbo it is insignificant. Try tying it open and then closed, it is vacuum operated so won't work properly anyway.
