WTB: [QLD] 13" White wall tyres

Hey guys,

my brother is after some white wall tyres for his other set of mags for his gemmy, just wondering if ya's know where some might be and how much, preferably 4 would be a start....

Depends what you call 'whitewall'

The ones with a white (or even colored) stripe around them can be cut into the face of the tyres for about $150 for all four.

Or you can get whitewall flaps/inserts like i've got on the beetle. They sit between the rim and tyre, and come in 13" - 15" and different widths from memory

Or you can have a look at www.antiquetyres.com.au for proper whitewalls, but they're not cheap!

Ok, I spoke to my brother, he's after what you call porta walls, I think they are what you said you have on the beetle...He found some on ebay for $70USD but there for 15" tyres...

Yeah, portawalls are white i've got.

There's a few different brands - Omega are what i've got, Atlas is another brand.

The Omegas are softer rubber but tend to stick out a little, the Atlas are stiffer and more curved but can cut into the sidewalls alittle

Tell him to call George at ClassicVeeDub - he *should* have 13" ones.
