Standard Anti-roll bar diameter for BG?

Just wondering how thick the standard sway bar is on a BG? and what people use to replace it. I was checking out the whiteline site, the have a table for comparison. The thicker the bar the stiffer. What have people used here?

hehe i only have one car, ok i have a 20mm ordered looks like i have either 18 or 17... quick measure no calipers, so used pi to work it out.... most likely its 18, whihc is 52% stiffer for mine.... if its 17 its actually 92% stiffer!!!

having a look at the catalogue you have either a choice of 20 or 22... 22 being heavy duty, so i'd work on the theory you also have a standard 18mm... i will try and find out for ya... but this is goign to make for 52% and 123%

yer i checked out the site, and saw 22mm was the biggest. IMO the stiffer the better, so i'd just go for the biggest i could get.

Biggest is not always best, by going bigger can help dial out some over-steer but too big and you start venturing into under-steer territory.

Are you guys talking front or rear here. The one I have on the rear is 19mm there is a 21mm
with adjustments. The 19mm is for use with the standard front 22mm bar which is hollow. The
21mm rear is suited to an uprated front swaybar which is the same 22mm but solid not hollow.
Have the 21mm rear with a standard front will cause oversteer out of corners causing things
like Kitty's famous 180 at the roundabouts

To change the front swaybar you need the motor out of the car otherwise
you cant get it out. Yes whiteline make front and rear strut braces for the
BA have a search on www.whiteline.com.au to see that they do for a BG. Pretty
sure they will as they have done kits for the BG GTX and GTR's
