Yes, the BA Hatch (in my experience) is often labeled as a girls car.

Some guys think that bigger is better and subtitute there lack of... errrr, ummm with a big V8. These people look at smaller cars with contempt when they should be looking at them with envy.

that's the MX5 they are a girly car when stock. like a 2dr lancer (except not slow) with minor mods, they look stylish.

i cop it all the time at work whenever i'm talking to someone new.
"isn't that a bit girly?" i reply "it's not bad for a v6" then i get "did they even come out in v6?" luv it.

hands down girl cars.
Doesnt matter tho, unlike other girls cars like the mirage etc, its a damn good car. Built well, handles well, has potential and is awesom to drive. So at the end of the day who really cares.

Interestingly in the S3 JDM Lantis brochure i just got, the Hatch is heavier. Hatch 1200 vs Hardtop 1190 for the Type R, 1140 vs 1130 for the Type G.

yeah but we dont own JDM cars with heavier climate control/more wiring for other stuff/etc. all the shiz adds up. but i'd assume they be equally heavier for both.
OZ delivered hardtops weight 40kg more don't they? my S3 weighs 1160-1180kg. ryan |

owned!
i just console myself with the fact that the hatch is betta looking then, i'll just deal with the extra 15kg. all the extra weight must be in the rear hatch door??? ryan Last edited by project.r.racing; 07-10-2007 at 01:53 PM. |
