I saw them and thought Cool, they look like TE37s. On the way home I realised they are TE37s. While I was there I had a chat and discovored that in two months Tamyia are re-releasing their first chassis. Below is a pic of the optional bodys from 1979. I swear I havn't touched either in over ten years.

heh and for whoever said their car wasent drift as it was AWD :P as far as im concerned, nobody should try to drift with a RWD R/C car, all RC drifting is really just AWD, makes the control and power delivery so much easier.
heh, my friend got into it, and is a nitro nut, he wondered why i laughed at him using a nitro until he maggoted his engine bearings after 2 months. pity I have no spare cash for this anymore :P |

The reason I said that my AWD RC wasn't drift is because I've had RWD high power cars and could drift 'em with ease. Also the weight/power distribution in this one is is wrong for drifting.

They are plastic, the same kind as model kits are made from.

Nah, flat black, hand painted silver trim and some paint damage on the roof due to a high centre of gravity

im currently designing a proto-type circuit for the flashing lights :P mine didnt come with it like the drift spec ones do. so if anyone else doesnt hav the module and would like one, let me know and ill try figure out how much its cost me to make would be as cheap as possible, just cost of parts. or u can go buy the tamiya one. im just bored and know i can make the same thing for a fraction of the $$$.

Thats complete, charger, battery, transmitter, the lot. First upgrade would be a sports tuned motor for $30 to really get the tires spinning And yup, open saturdays marc, look for the tall skinny guy, and throw something at him

well i just completed the proto-type, it was a huge success i took a few photos although u cant really get the full jist of the flashing from photos. but mine has 2 headlights each side and foglights, the lights flash in the configuration of both outside headlights flash fast, then the inside ones flash fast and so on, the foglights r constantly on, and along with the foglights ill be adding taillights. so let me know if u want one, and how many lights and how u want them to flash, i can make them flash in most configurations with only a few slight nods to the circuit. i can even speed up or slow down the flashing. i can post a video on youtube if anyone wants to fully see how it goes.
