Well I received my R/C drifter yesterday along with the rims I also bought off ebay, and all I can say is that its addictive!! Although its a little slow, its still enough to flick around

Toyworld buddy, dunno if they would fit your shell (come in different offsets) and I dont know SFA about the bolt on design on the elec tourers...
The model website of your particular model should have alot of available rim + tyre options.

my latest chassis , before this i had a sprint 2, its in parts now. ive been into rc drift since jun 08 according to my ausdrift.net profile.
pics are from a few months ago when i first got it, the electrics were only test fitted, wires are better now. no body for this one yet, only run in wide open spaces of indoors

Bump!
Recently bought a EzRun 9T brushless motor with ESC from ebay for $82, not bad for something that I hardly use I guess Hey Jarrod, what batteries do you use? Tamiya or Deans?

Still on the Tamiya as they are much cheaper and I don't use LIPO on the E10 yet. I sold all my other RC's as they were just collecting dust but I kept my HPI E10 as it is just so much fun drifting it. I have converted it to rally spec at one stage and kept breaking things so converted back to drift and bought a buggy but got sick of it so it just collected dust. Hence why I sold it but that was about a year ago now. The only other one I had was a TA RC18 which got sold as well. That thing was a rocket for a 1/18th model.

Oh forgot about the Baja 5B as well. Bought it off a mate for a good price and had it for about 6 months when he begged and pleaded me to sell it back to him. So I sold it back to him for the same price I bought it for.

Geeze, you sound as bad as Gav!
I think i'll just stick with drifting, however the backyard is said to be "heaven" (in Gavs words ) due to the different surfaces, but I gotta put my foot down somewhere

That's OK, I will bring my truggy over to your place and utilise it's full potential in your backyard!
And I'm not that bad, I only have 7 cars. 1 of which I definitely want to get rid of, not sure about another [but it's good money in the bank if I sell it! ], 2 more shelf queens [1 not built, another never used], and my 3 'daily' cars... Other cars I like are the TA SC8e, HPI Baja 5S V2, and the Kyosho Ultima DB [which is calling my name]. Gav. |

The HPI Baja's are just plain fun but you need a large space to utilise their full potential. I used to take it down to the park as my one was very loud because of the aftermarket exhaust on it. Also is great at a skate park as long as no skaters are there.
