BA Foglight Setup
OK I'm getting the switch which I know just plugs in and the foggies are using the wires that are there already but what I need is the relay. What kind of relay and where do I wire it in? Pics would really help.

ok dont quote me on this but i was told that the relay resides in the front passangers footwell towards the outside of the car (so the far left side) i was also told that almost any relay with that pin configuration will fit in but i would use 100W just to be on the safe side.
i would also look at the pin config to c what to get i was gonna do this but lost interest lol hope others help more man tony |

You can use any relay with 100W or more power rating. I bought mine from Jaycar . mazda relay will plug in straight any other relay you'll need to do some soldering. I usd some spade connectors to make jumper wires so that the relay can be plugged in.

yes, yes i did
*most* 4 pin relays have the example same pinout. it so happens that the 4 pin relay you get in supercheap lighting kits plugs straight into the stock loom. The one i had was rated at 100W. Never had an issue. I can pop the panel and check the pinout tomorrow if it helps? If you need a hand let me know, buts its pretty simple

Sweet. How much for the lighting kits from supercheap? Also can you get this relay separate from the kit.

I looked through the catalogue for hella, narva and britax and none of them have a relay with that pinout configuration. If someone that has one can get me a part number, i may be able to scrounge one from the depths

Bottom of a scotch bottle 'o course

Basic pinout is (imagine the press down clip bit on top) _C_ |1 2| |3 4| ------ where 2, 4 are the gate to power the lights and 1,3 are the coil (powered from the switch, or maybe earthed, cant remember. It plugs directly in, clip and all.
