Help deciding which wheels to choose?
Hey all.
I had my Lovells superlow springs fitted to my 96 BA Astina sedan today by my brother and his mates, while I was at work, saved me all the hassle... cheering! Anyway I'm pretty happy with how the car handles now. I'd say they have successfully rid my car of about 50% of the bodyroll, and that annoying bounce that the previous springs had. Here's a pic: Next on the list is to get some new wheels. I'm pretty set on getting 17inch and have narrowed it down to 2. ATM I'm almost 50-50, just wondering what peoples opinions are of the 2, and/or any suggestions on what may suit? Thanks |

Quote:
1. Springs bounce and the harder they are the more they bounce, shock absorbers/dampers control this bounce. 2. Body roll is controlled by sway bars, sure springs help a little but sway bars control sway.

I say the first one with the chrome lip. The red line has nothing else on the car to go with it and all the spokes do make it look very busy.

First ones. But I'd suggest 18s I regret buying 17s now. So I'll be off to buy another set of 18s in 6 months or so just to fill up the guards a little more. Use 70NYD's car as an example for 18s.
