[JDM] Mazdaspeed Seats

Mazdaspeed Seats.

Images:

Synthetic Leather 'Sport' seats come in Red, White or Black with the Grey MS centre. White and Black most common.
'Type-F' Suede ones come in Navy Blue, Black, Red or Grey. Black most common.

Rails are built-in to the seat - and therefore they are a universal rail - but there are car-specific brackets that attach to each corner of the rails.

They are now unavailable new, as they (along with many older MS parts) have been discontinued.

Secondhand ones will appear below, and generally sell for about 15000-40000 per seat, or 40000-80000 a pair (depending on condition of course)

C'mon people, click the link. i can't do all the work for you....this means you, Kyle :P

But in this case, only one pictured of the Black Type F, so only one seat.

current bid is 30000, buy it now is 45000. 23 hours left.

based on a 35000 sell price, it'd be about $740 landed in Aus, and at a guess +100 to ship to NZ.

You'd be better off buying the 60000yen pair of black Sport ones higher up the thread, IMO. Only one lot of fees/shipping etc then, and would be under $1300 for the pair.

Just a quick question about these seats to satisfy my own curiosity (not in the market myself, maybe in the future if I start prettying up the ol' 323).

Do any/all of these seats suit a 2-door (eg. the drivers backrest in my 323 flips forward and the passengers backrest flips forward and slides the base forward in the one motion)?

Flip forward only, the rail kits do not have the provision to slide either.

I was wrong actually, the go a ridiculously long way forward, but you have to hold the adjusting arm up. So they'd be fine for a hatch.

Hi there Rupewrecht. I'm interested in buying one pair just like the one you installed in the NA MX-5. I have one also... Here's the thing, i'm from Portugal. Do you thing you can get them shipped over here. How much will it cost?

I can, but they have to be disassembled (no big deal) and shipped singly due to size restrictions. A rough cost for shipping (on top of the cost of buying/fees/etc ) would be AUD$750 for airmail or $350 for seamail to Portugal.

For the white Sports pair on the previous page, the cost landed would be AUD$2130, plus your choice of shipping.

Welcome to AGT, too!

Thanks for the quick reply! The price is a little high for me. That tag price of AUD$2130 doesn't include the taxes i will have to pay here in Portugal. We have to pay a specific tax for everything that comes from out of the European Union. Maybe in a year or so i'll have that kind of cash... Thank you for your time anyway.

Take care

They all flip forward via the lever on the side, but don't slide forward as well. At least not with my BA application.

Oh for what it's worth - my size person doesn't fit well in the the seats, the thigh bolsters need to be spread to make them seats useable. Slimmer people would be fine though.

I've sat in the MS seats and I like them. Problem I found was that the MS rails mimic the JDM rails so they sit the seats much further forward than ADM and don't go back as far.

You can't get back seats for any car.

It wouldn't take too much effort. The rails on each MS seat are identical, but there's little brackets that go on each corner of the rail that are different for each car. Lantis/Astina one are pretty rare, but they wouldn't be that hard to get someone to fabricate some - it's just 3 or 4mm bent steel. Getting them new is virtually impossible though.

Could i use the rails from my existing seats or are they solidly attached?
