hey guys
i thought id ask too see who in sa has any car related connections? to get discounts/ help....
my boss knows a fair few car places, and has a fair few connections, but there mainly v8 stuff...

Bob Jane - Pultney Street - can only do a bit better than RRP tho.

I get looked after at Motoquipe at West Lakes and Autobarn Mile End pretty well - wouldn't go as far as calling it a connection tho.

Used have a mate who worked for Sprints and a mate who worked for Car Toys, but they've since moved on.

my mates work for sprints in gawler, and i am mates with a girl whos parents own sprint autos, but she cant give me any deals.:-(

a mate of mine i knew from primary school just bought his own business. Not Just Brakes at Edwardstown. good guy, the places is next to Castle Plaza so you can have something to do while work is being done (general mechanics, nothing requiring more specialised services).

Lol...I used to be good friends with the people that owned "not just brakes" down there a few years back.
Their daughter had a tough as 13b turbs rx3. I wanted to marry that girl but alas I was still a minor.

If you live in the northern suburbs you can pretty much walk into any shop and say you work at GMH and they will give you discount. I use to get it everywhere when I worked there and hardly anyone asked for proof.
