97 BA Electrical Help PLS
Hi, just drove my BA from Darwin to Hervery Bay Qld, 3300 ks without any real problems other than:
I have no High Beam, just the ****ty low beams which wouldn't spot a roo if it was climbing up the bonnet. Originally the the high beams wouldn't work with the stalk in the high beam position but I could use the pass function to operate them, then that got intermittent and now there is nothing. I cant find any relays for the headlights. Is there any and if so does anybody know for sure where it might be located. Also, can anyone recommend an after-market cruse control kit for a BA. And.... does anyone know or recommend an auto electrician in Hervery Bay QLD I have goto go all the way back again in a few days and I cant bear the thought of doing it without getting the above issues sorted. Thanks in advance Roby |

According to the wiring book there is no relay it's all in the switch (non-ABS)
ABS equiped models have a relay but it powers both high and low. If the blue high beam lamp on the dash lights then the high beams should work (blown globes), if not it's the combo switch.

Bummer
Nope no blue indicator in the dash, if its the combo switch I'm in trouble cause its gota be really expensive. Maybe I could get a old style floor Hi/Lo switch wired in.
