****ed up

was trying to wire an amp in and accidentally cut a yellow wire in the loom that goes through under the passenger side. i reconnected it but now my car is idling higher. at around 2500rpm.
what could that wire possibly be

Shouldn't cut anything to install an amp. Just reconnect it.
