outcome imo not as good as the sedan, but tell ya what the cornering is a lot flatter, and probably more reliable, would be well complemented with lower profile tyre, but i'll leave that to leigh to comment on!!!!
caster adjustment to come

eh it made a BIG difference on the commenarra, boubie. that was really the only time i noticed, cos mum didn't instinctively go for the jesus bars when i went around the corners. so the passenger is feeling it more i spose.
andrew, keep ur laughing to urself! :P at least my car STARTS....james' car made a loud 'BANG!' last nite when he went to start it up. wouldn't start up after that....oh ohhhh! however, we will blame it on 4wd bitch. meh. y the heck not!

call me naive but where does a rear sway bar go??
I have one on the front came with it, But how would you put on in the back do you have a bar thru the middle of your boot, ie greatly hampering storage space or where the hell does it go? :? Please stop laughing at my stupid question just long enough to answer. |

You are thinking of a strut brace my friend. Yes that would go through the boot.
A rear sway bar, or anti-roll bar gets fitted to the subframe and suspension struts under the car. Effectively stiffens that end of the car in roll. Should sit flatter in corners and is one of the primary ways of adjusting the understeer/oversteer handling bias of a car.

So a Strut bar is in the middle of the boot(thus taking up space),
and a Sway bar is under the car, which is better, why? |

They are for completely different purposes.
The sway bar is a part of the suspension and basically affects the available grip at the road/tyre interface. The strut brace stiffens the shell of the car so the suspension works more consistently. This is getting into the nitty gritty but as your suspension travels there are changes to the wheel alignment, often referred to as dynamic camber, caster, etc. If the body of the car flexes as well as the suspension then the dynamic wheel alignment = that of the suspension geometry + that induced by the car deflection. If you were looking to purchase one or the other you will get more bang for buck with a sway bar than you will a strut brace (on the rear in any case). Hope that this helps
