Dan's 2007 Subaru Liberty GT Spec B Tuned By STI
So as many of you know I sold my SP20 for a bit of an upgrade.
I got myself a 2007 Subaru Liberty GT Spec B Tuned By STI. It's number 47 out of only 300 ever sold! Only had it a few days at this stage but I'm unbelievably happy with it! It's a truly beautiful car with a finish quality that is up there with similar age BMWs. Seems to have plenty of power, although I haven't opened it up properly yet. Lots of features, leather, and of course AWD. So far all I've done to it is detail it, has come up brilliantly. It ended up raining tonight and I didn't feel like getting it dirty already so no 'photos' yet, so you'll have to live with these snapshots from my phone for now. |

Ahh yeah forgot plans It has so much there isn't much I need to add, and even less that I want to change. Hopefully in a few months I'll start work on installing a Car PC with 7" touch screen integrated into the dash giving it a nice OEM look. Then get that running through the 14 speaker sound system. Performance wise I haven't really pushed it but it's going to take a while to get used to the power it currently has so I won't need any more for quite some time. At the moment I'm just changing some of the interior and exterior lights out for LEDs and hopefully get some minor dents removed next week so she's looking new again. |

Very nice, my favourite liberty shape too. Now get up here and we can have a AWD Turbo drive through the hills. Its just a short drive to Brissie

Hey there! Nice car man! Love these, they drive so smooth
My brother has one of these too... Except white Performance wise, stock... It doesn't put much down to the road... Only put down 100KW at all 4 in full stock form. Which is no where near its potential. When you do want power, the number one thing to replace is the dump pipe.... The waste gate side is literally completely blocked... If you don't believe me I will take a pic... It's sitting in my shed This creates a huge restriction. With just an aftermarket dump and a retune on the ecu, it put out 178KW at all 4 peak... But due to stock inter cooler couldn't repeat this figure, so boost got turned down 1.5 psi which then ran 165KW at all 4 consistently. So if u are after a bit more, you could easily run 180KW at all 4 all day if you did the dump, aftermarket top mount inter cooler and a retune. even running 165KW it is still enough to step the car out completely sideways in second through a corner Plenty of torque. Keep us updated on the car, Enjoy.

Yeah dump pipe, TBE, FMIC and a tune would be the first things I do for some more power. Although I'd probably do that all at once and that's a long way off Thanks, yeah I love the interior. It's very classy, electric seat, dual climate control. Wouldn't expect it from the aggressive exterior |

Yeah I'd do it all at once, best way for sure. I found that on stock tune there is slight hesitation at about 4000. That is basically due to the dump pipe.
If u want I can get more info on the dump my brother used... Pretty sure it was a Phat dump. Is a hand made dump, engine pipe and removes one cat. Extremely nice piece of fabrication. Made by a local engineer near me. Will get more info on it and prices if u want. Also one of the only dumps that are a True bolt on. All others have fitment issues

Haha yeah, the dump pipe you're talking about is made by a guy who's forum name is Phat_GT on a liberty forum I've been spending some time on. Definitely sounds like it's the way to go. If and when I decide I want more power
Manual, I didn't even consider any auto cars |

Wouldn't even consider any other dump. Perfect welds, thick gauge stainless. Just a top piece of fabrication. Changed the dump in just over an hour, no issues at all. And it has plenty of proven duno results
