[QLD] : 20 August - GC Hinterland and Northern NSW Cruise

Organised by myself and Zoomer (primarily of ozmazdaclub.com).

Date : 20 August (Saturday) - All Day

Meeting place : Springwood McDonalds *

Meeting time : 7:30am

Leave time : 8:00am

Basically it's a drive down the mt lindsay highway heading towards the border ranges. should be lots of nice pic opportunities and roads.

We'll be meeting up with Zoomer (and Blue2 I assume) at Rathdowney Pub (near qld nsw border). From there we'll be taking the famous Lions road (zoomer says awesome road) heading towards Lismore.

Lunch in Lismore around 1pm.

Heading from there off to Byron Bay for some photo ops.

Leaving there and making our way back to the GC and having dindins at Hogs Breath at The Spit (aka Seaworld). We should be getting in there around 8pm.

Dindins then off to the BWCP for some chit chat and then home from there.

What to bring : handheld CB, camera, drinks, sunscrean, driving mood.

Hopefully we'll be sporting our Microtechs, etc for this and can use it as a good idea of our economy sustained performance and to check for overheating...

sounds like fun, up up for it i will jsut leave a early gotta be at work at helensvale at 4:30 but still leaves heaps of cruzing time

I'm in Federal, NSW. Used to live in Melb but up here now.

ok guys, this cruise is officially on-hold until further notice. too many of us need to install the microtech's that weekend.

i'm guessing we'll try the cruise again after the jambo
