a/c control and dash lights not working

hi guys i seem to be having some electrical issues with my 93 astina bg

the dash lights and a/c control lights arent working, and neither are my tail lights and the lights for the gear (it's an automatic).

my mechanic says it might be a wiring issue, and recommends gettin an electrician to look at it, but he says it's gonna cost

i'm plannin to add light bulbs at the rear and run it to a switch for my tail lights, so one panel will be for brake lights while the other will be for tail lights
