Working off of 6hours being at the track ( 9am-3pm) each car would have gotten around 30mins track time... but now with 14 cars its dropped to 26mins.. nothing really to cry home about...

Still...wouldn't have minded "the change" being put the group considering that we all had already paid. IMO more cars = more down time, be it waiting for drivers to get ready, instructors changing cars etc etc.

Food for thought as most of us are traveling 3 or so hours...so every minute would have counted.

Most of the time, 2 cars can be on the pan at once, so double that. and if you stay past 3, even more time again.

There was 13 cars last Sunday, and peps were parking on the side resting towards the end of the day. Some cars weren't getting a chance to cool down.

Mmm I didn't really think about that. My apologies. I haven't taken any payments yet. So I'll try to back pedal on it.

Sorry guys, let's not make a debate about this. I should've consulted everyone as Rob said, since you all had paid. I am currently in the process of returning the number of cars back to 12. As said above, I haven't taken any payments for any new spots.

For those who are travelling far, Noddi / Steve has said that he has a spare bed that I think is available. PM him for more details. He lives very northside of Brisbane.

Any others that might have a spare bed, please let us know.

Alternately, Gympie and Sunshine Coast have cheap Double rooms for around $60-$70, sometimes alot cheaper in the Gympie area, if you prefer to make a few calls. 8am wake up, 10-15mins travel to pan. Just a suggestion.

personally I would leave at the format with it being 14 cars, just to spice it up a little...

Brought drinks for the day:-

24 x 600ml water
24 x 375ml lemonade
24 x 375ml cola

Should be enough for drivers and passengers.

ryan, if we can stay past 3pm, what time can we stay until ?
my 2 cents - i dont care if we add a few more cars. if we do, ryan keep my $15 and put it towards food/drink for next event. (start a petty cash ;-p)
