If you are going to win based on consistancy, does it really matter? It might just look silly competing against 12sec cars. Well, probably more silly for them for that matter...

i dont mind who i compete against, but since front mod and sport fwd will be combined - well at the moment anyway - why not go front mod? the crx will hopefully be finished by jamboree next year which is still part of this season's champsionship (strange). if i compete in sport fwd i cant race in the crx when it's done - especially so if the classes are combined.

pfffffffffft... i am no chance for a podium finish let alone a championship....

Wont be racing at jamboree given the new rules... absolutely no point in me dragging the car out there given i'll get 3 qualifying passes then be sent home.

If the old rules were still standing i would have at least been a shot to get into the top 16, with potential dropouts etc on day 2 - but yeh, no 14.99, you get to go home....

So i'll aim for sydney or melbourne....

hahahahaha

if it wasnt for the 14.99 cutoff i prob wouldnt qualify this year, esp with FM and SF being one for the time being.

but the Street RWD field will be massive! everyone going under 14.99 races on race day. damn!

i hope it does. that's really stupid. in no way does it encourage the likes of us to go "up" to Front Mod/Front Runner. there would be no way in hell they'd join sport rwd and oz mod/street 289.

ray said it's because of numbers - that front mod wont get atleast 8 entrants at each event. which is kinda true, but make the class more attractive. allow the online pro fwd to race in it (which they have done) and up the prize money to the all motor level.

but i saw this coming during last year. 1 fwd class. all motor is where the future is going. heads up all motor racing. fwd, awd, rwd all racing in 1 class heads up. would be an awesome sight.

well i know of so many new fast turbo FWD cars aswell...i think the entire FWD theme is taking off pretty big which is good, i dont want to go to front mod because of the extra cost and rules and the slicks etc , ill break **** with full slicks

im alreayd having trouble with my clutchpack lsd i dunno whats up with it it just locks on the freeway on slight bends and makes the car jerk to the right i think its only after i been on the freeway for ages and the gearbox heats up , i added some friction modifier today to seeif it wil loosen it up..cos its seriously gay ive already removed the box once since rebuild to fix the fuct thing

you dont have to use slicks, nor do you have to go up to the rules. front mod rules just allow you to do more. any car that is ok within the street fwd rules will be fine within the front mod rules
