Automation - A Car company tycoon game

Hi, just wanted to share something cool I'm working on that you guys might have an interest in, please bear in mind that this is totally shameless plug though :P

Me and a friend are working on a PC game called "Automation", its basically a "Tycoon Game" where you run a car company, but unlike other games we're actually going fairly heavy on the technical details of engine and car design etc.

Here is a video of us building a car in it.

Thoughts?

We've got forums at www.automationgame.com if anyone wants to join us, and you can apply to be a beta tester too if you wish

Looks and sounds promising
Does it have a rotary in it?
And how do I get a copy?

Rotaries will be in a later expansion.

We're still developing the game so you can't get it yet, but keep an eye on our website for updates

We've started preorders to support development!

Go to Project: Automation - The Car Company Tycoon Game | RocketHub if you wish to preorder.

Not only to you get the warm fuzzy feeling of supporting us to get Automation done better and faster, you also save $10 off the final price and get access to extra content when the demo comes out
(When we release the demo it will be limited to Inline 4 hatchbacks, but those of you who've preordered will get access to everything as we finish it)

Please spread the word about this to anyone you know who might like it, if this does well Automation could be done a lot quicker and to a higher standard

Have you guys considered Venture Capital? Either through the various companies that exist for this purpose or Angel Investors?

On a side one way to get money would be allow pre ordered customers to be able to download betas Itd get the word out there at any rate. You'd need to be able to achieve a decent release schedual to make the release to pre orders worth while from a marketing perspective.

Awesome work guys. Not sure if the pricing model is a little unrealistic for yourselves at essentially 20 AUD for a pre order you will need to sell alot for it to be profitible and worth while considering the effort you put in. Unless your going to use some other form of income source, such as using an online service to extend the games function or something. *shrug*
