if you get 205 tyres you could leave the guards alone.
mine is lowered 35mm with no probs, thats as far as i want to go, more for comfort reasons rather than looks though, how do you know you need the guards rolled? :? |

Minimun legal ride height is 100mm (i think thats most areas), if your wondering. Stock ride height is 150mm and with 17" wheels,50mm lowered should be legal height(maybe not the wheels tho)

Should be fine with those springs mate, plenty of clearance on the standard height, 50mm should make the car sit very nicely. You should notice the car settle on the springs too

Is there anywhere I can get a decent write-up on DIY lowering?
Maz, did you find it difficult at all or have you done it before? Thats hell cheap I got quoted $320 for the 4 springs. :x

It's not difficult to change springs. For a one off job though the tools can be more than what installation would've cost.
Chassis stands X 2 Spring compessors (to be safe) 14mm and 17mm spanners If you have plans to do many DIY projects then buy the tools, else get it done for you :?
