Congrats mate, Took me 2 goes before I got my P's (due to not enough shoulder checks) although times have changed since I got my licence although I have only been driving for 5.5years... Kinda sucks in a way you have to follow so many stinking rules...
Lets not hear about any "lost my licence" stories Cheers Marc

i dont think its that stupid to fail someone who is going to slow...if a person is not aware of their surroundings and the speed limit then they shouldnt have their license... my two cents

the instructor was probably a wanker lol
but it depends on how long you were traveling at that speed and whether or not it was outside the school zone...remember that school zones pretty much finish at the start and finish of the actual school first time i failed it was coz i was doing 10kms under the speed limit. was doing 50 but my instructor had told me that if i was unsure of the limit to just go 50...so i do feel your pain |

Congrats! Took me 3 goes too. First time I deserved not to get it, I was so nervous I even managed to not quite move the shifter into first and tried to take off in neutral. Second time I deserved to get it but didn't, stupid cow gave all sorts of stupid comments (eg. not parking in 1st - that's not a rule! And too many gear changes. WTF?!), forced me to go over a double line in order to not crash with a parked car, and I even got random breath tested by the police during the test.
Third time is indeed the charm. |

i dont agree with the too slow thing.. ppl seem to forget that as speed LIMIT is a LIMIT not the recomended traveling speed... i had this argument with a very good mate of myn that is a officer and he sais that you would get booked for obstructing the flow of traffic (argument was about going like 30km under the limit but) and he got in contact with his supervisor to prove me wrong, but im sure that you could argue this in court because limit is just that a LIMIT its not a 50-60 zone (as in travel within those speeds) see my point of view on this?
