Thermo fan won't turn off.

Hey guys, We had a hot day yesterday and I drove home with the air-con on (not sure how relevant this is). After I switched the car off the drivers-side thermo continued to run, for a full 15mins after until I unplugged it.

I'm guessing the relay has crapped itself, any suggestions?
Where is the relay for the fans?

I thought the fans were able to start themselves at any time to remove heat?
At least that's what the stickers say.

15 minutes seems like a long time but once you stop the car you get heat soak.
Sounds perfectly normal to me.
I've seen mine do it once on a particularly hot day (not yesterday, but 40 got it going).

If you wantto reduce the time pop the hood and get all that heat out of there

Yeah sorry I forgot to add that about 1 hour later I plugged the fan back in and it started going.

Yeah thatp sounds like its failed shut, which in hindsight way better than the alternative! Sorry I cannot offer more advice, I've only got the mechanical part of the manual.

A/C fan relays are on the RH strut tower aren't they, fairly sure one is compressor relay and one is A/C fan relay.
