Horn isnt Working

so my horn isnt working
driving home form uni last night a women in a excel cut me off
to show my displeasure i pushed the horn and nothing happened
had to give the women the evils at the next set of lights
however i went in for the pink slip a few weeks ago
and it was working then
when pressing the button i can hear the relay click on and off and the fuse is fine
i took the bumper off this morning in the light
everything looked ok i guess
heres some pics

and

so any ideas?
im stumped is there anyway to check its working? like put it on a 12 volt battery or something?
and has anyone had this issue before?

get a test light or volt meter and see if any power is goin though the wires connected to the horn (if there is power get a new horn)

otherwise start looking for the relay/fuse? (thats even if horns have relays)

all i can think of atm.

I'd grab a length of wire and test the horn on the battery first, then work backward with a meter/lamp.

as theres only only one wire running into the top of the horn as you can see in the img
im going to assume that it earths thru the body of the car
so would i be right in guessing that just place the wire in the same hole as the bolt that
holds the horn in with then hold it in with a bolt. then run that wire to a test light to the power cable?
or is that just going to short out and lose a fuse?
and cheers guys for the quick reply

just plug it into a battery, probably doesn't matter polarity or voltage (id use a 9V personally.)

Put the bit that bolts on on the -ve terminal and run a short wire from the +ve to where the spade plugs in.
You'll know if it works
