sp20 crank
hey guys i know this question has bee asked before a while ago but just wondering if any one has done any research into it..
just wondering if the sp20 crank will fit into the bpt motors? any help wiil be appreciated thanks

i'd say no, but dont use the crank to get bigger displacement. the rod ratio on the sp20 is crap (to say the least).
how's the car anyway? |

sorry to threadjack here, but its kinda related, twilight should know this...in the 1.8 fp engines with the smaller crank/stroke, are the rods longer or pistons bigger or do the rods join the pistons lower down to make up for the longer distance from crank journal to the head. Hope thats not too confusing a question...i assumed the fp had longer rods or something...

longer rods. pistons are the same between the 1.8 and 2L as far as i was aware
