[ACT] Spotted: Seen a interesting Mazda???
Not many people seem to be active here, just wondering if anybody has spotted any special Astina's around.
I might have saw one tonite, but could have been a portege, lowered with chrome rims out at Bruce.

the only really done up astina i can recall seeing around is a green (with black bonnet) BA hardtop, wing, wheels, kit some stickers and vynils if I recall. I haven't seen it in ages, but used to see it around braddon and all the other cool car places.

Yeh, i think because of these new laws(damn media)... And the cops being such DICKHEADS... Canberra is a the nicest area to cruise in Australia, I think(would be cool if Canberra was on a coast), but your right, the car scene has died down.

Yeah its also heaps cold now, Braddon on Friday nights is always half decent.
When it starts to get warm its awesome for cruising. Haven't seen many nice astina's round, I see a few SP20's with chromies but thats about it but then again I don't get out much.

A lot of people have gone for outright performance than looks these days cause the cops hassle you a lot less if your doesn't look fast or draw attention.
October gets busy due to formals

Today, at woden, a neat BG SP red with mags, looks lowered, could be wrong. Plus a Grey SP20 last week trying to race a Turbo Pulsar.

I've seen a few nice Astina's around lately...Lots of cute girls in BJ's in particular. The odd BA/Hardtop as well.
For those that are interested, I'm going to be entering my heap...I mean car in the SDMA hillclimb at Sutton Forest on the 27th of August - a benchmark before I (hopefully) get my new suspension installed! |
