price on de-gasing and re-gasing

Just wondering if anyone knows the price on de-gasing and re-gasing the a/c
As im planing on replacing it tomoz . I forgot the part of de-gasing before working on it.
Do U know the price of the filter as well?

i should be able to tell you by this afternoon, but it'll be on a different model car.

if its just a straight re-gas... $100-$150 i reckon. That's what iwas quoted a year ago anyway.

Just got quoted $230.00 to de-gas and re-gas.
$65.00 for the filter at repco.

Yeah cheap is a regas $99 sorry I don't know full price but work from there

agreed. also i can't tell you the price because i fixed the problem with the airconditioning on my own with a cable tie and a pocket full of dreams

You will probably find re-gassing is more expensive than it used to be. My uncle works for a refrigeration company and the price of the gas (R134a) went up quite a bit after the carbon tax was introduced. I had my BG Astina done 2 years ago for $90. It wont be that cheap now.
