Hi Guys,

I need help to find the speed sensor wire on my standard ECU. If anyone can help me with which colour or send me a wiring diagram, it would be muchly appreciated.

Thanks

actually... it may be hard to read that without the rest of the diagrams to flick thru.

speed is picked up from the sensor, goes into the instrument cluster, then goes to the ecu. that signal coming into the ecu is pin 1M ( see B-2c )

the wiring of the instrument cluster goes :

power to sensor : 3F ( LG/R )
signal back from sensor : 2G ( GY/L )
signal to ecu : 2E ( G/R )

another one :

looking at that u can see that power comes in to the "Speed Circuit" ( from the top right ) , goes out 3F to the sensor, back in via 2G ( now modified by sensor = speed signal ) and then out 2E to the ecu. If you're going to tap from the cluster, i'd say dont touch 3F or 2G, only the signal to the ecu.
