hahaha great to hear you can still come!! and good to see YOU TOO think that the lynx beast should make an appearance lol
yeah guys, if you wanna be stupid with your driving, you can do it on the way home, whether you're taking the Hume or heading back the way we came. BUT i still don't condone it. we've got race days at different race tracks where we can do that.

Oh Moy Gawwwwd!! Thanks guys for an amazing & fantastic day!! Am completely buggered after driving all day, but DAMN it was worth it!! Beautiful weather, great roads, lovely ppl, fantastic cars and a scrummy lunch, just made the day exactly what I hoped for It was great to finally put names to faces and have a chat I am lost for words (which is a very rare occasion for moi!) on how to thank everyone who attended, for their cooperation and patience. Thank you to Rod and everyone involved, for organising the photo shoot too Haven't had a look at the pics yet, but i'm sure they're brilliant. And thanks Brian, for the detour on the way home to Mt Keira. It is just stunning up there!
I'm having a look at the pics now, but I shall get them up sumtime 2moro.

Definately a fantastic day was had, That's one of the few cruises that will always remain a high-strung memory for me, it had everything, and it fell into perfect harmony the entire way.
Braxta, I need to get a copy of that movie you took of my car, but would preffer it stay out of public view, people that want to see it please PM me. Red Frog, thanks for a sheer perfect cruise, definately well planned, and organised, and good job on the maps and other stuff as well (you poor thing, spending all of this morning at 2am setting it all up).. The detour was nothing short of priceless, those views are stunning and to die for, but I was amazed at the amount of people that cruised up with us, made the ending of the day well worthwhile for me. Look forward to the next cruise (if I am invited of course). The cars, the people, the route, it was all fantastic, especially the people, so many friendly faces. Rod, hope all goes well with the ODD 12C, was definately a downer hearing about that, good luck on the rebuild. B.

I have to say the content of this cruise made it the best I have ever been on. My only dissappointment being slow Camrys+Commonwhores on Macquarie's Pass on the way back... Mt Kierra was great except for that red scooby! Great to catch up with the usual suspects and meet some new people too.
Nice one Leighfrog! Gav. |
