Driveshafts + CVs or just CVs?

Hey all, my CVs have been clicking for a while now to the point where they do it on almost every turn, so I've decided it's probably a good idea to change them sooner rather than later. There are two ways I could do this though. I could get CV kits like these and change them both individually, or alternatively I could get the whole driveshafts which are pre-assembled, like this.

So my questions are:
Do I need to replace the driveshafts?
If not, should I do it anyway? Or would it be a waste of money?

Thanks guys.

I find it easier to remove the driveshaft to replace the joints, so for an extra $60 I would definately be replacing shafts. They wouldn't need replacing, but it would save some time!

I'm going to get mine done in the next 2 weeks, I've been quoted anywhere from 450 to 700 for both sides inc labor. Any ideas how much i should be paying?

That seems like a lot. You can get the driveshafts for around $220, so I don't know why they'd charge so much for labour...

if its $220-$300 for the shafts...then its say 3hrs-4hrs labour then your labour charge could be between $240 and $360
