Newbie with a SP20

Hi There,

I have recently purchased a black 2001 SP20 with 240,000 on the clock.
Its been treated nicely and is in pretty good condition.

Looking forward to my journey of mods and making some awesome mates that love their cars just as much as I do.

I have been following Ben's and Swift Jimmy's build's which were half the reason why i brought a SP20

Keen to get the mods started!!

(So happy ive been converted from a Nissan Pulsar to a 323 SP20) ^.^

There aren't too many active users here on AGT that live in penrith.
there is Josh (HUB32T) that's also his number plate... drives a light blue sp20... I'm sure you will see him around. then there is Pete (FamiliaGTX) with his turbo white sp20, and myself

are you referring to the 2012 mazda 3 sp20? or do you mean the sp23 or sp25 rims?

what size rims are you looking for btw? 16's, 17's or 18's ??

yep, snowflake's look pretty nice... will look clean, tidy and have a nice fresher OEM look... especially on a black car (please keep them silver)

17's is the way to go if you don't want to sacrifice ride quality.

Retrofit's... Do a google search on retro fits on protege5's
There is more than enough info (mainly from mazdas247) about how to.

Also search this forum 'projector retrofit'
There are a few members that have also done this upgrade

alot of homework, measuring etc, find what look you like then go from there as you will see from the link at the bottom of this post I have retrofitted mine and will never go back to plug and play hid kits.
by the way welcome to the forum
hid planet is also a great forum for learning about retrofitting or the retrofit source how to section.
