Milton macca's thursday night?
Hey fellow brisbians,
Just wondering how many members go down to milton macca's on a thursday night??? Im usually down there at around 8-8.30 till round 10.30 most thursday nights. Might be a good opportunity to meet some fellow agt members not only to show off our stock cars but to have a bit of a yarn aswell . Anyways i should be down there this thursday night straight after work with business attire on standing round a dark blue SP20, dont be afraid to come up for a chat! Marc |

I dont want my car to get stolen sorry.
There seems to be a direct link between a large group of lebanese-appearing men checking out my car at a milton maccas recently, in detail, and then a group of lebanese-appearing men trying to steal it. The atmosphere at these kinds of meets is not one I like. The people there tend to be the undeserable types in society, the ones into drugs and heavy drinking and generally stupid behaviour ("Ill bash you c***"). So in short, im going to give it a miss. Also, cops frequently hit these things for revenue rasing. |

Come down Castlemaine St to Data3 building and carpark where all the Toyota boys hang out. Just leave all the burnouts and stupid behaviour at Macca's. We've been there for a few years now and have only had the Police come in there twice for a peek.

Seriously, I think a regular AGT meet would be good. I surgest the bunnings wearhouse carpark near me on stafford road. Its a hugeass mofo of a carpark, 300 parks no problems, well lit and with multiple access roads. Food is nearby with the McCrapalds and Red Rooter down the road at stafford city, and a carlovers right next door to wash the drool off your car that others may deposit. Its kinda northsidy, but its an unused carpark and the cops arent gona get wind of it if it doesent get too big. Also, no fkwits to deal with, except for tim and his OMGFULSIK machine.... (More on this tommrow folks.) |

yeah agreed ... but its nice to go somewhere that we can check out other cars aswell, and i mean if we keep our cars legal what do we have to worry about?

The whole point of meeting up was that it can become a regular thing as ian pointed out. It could even be changed every week saying it could be in ipswich one week, stafford the next etc, just so we can mix it up and get as many agt members to these "mini" cruises as possible. Its great having big cruise to nebo and the like every 2 months, just we need something to fill up those holes.
My suggestions for the west siders (ipswich and surrounding areas) are Bunnings car car park at booval (close to macca's and hungry jacks), Redbank Plaza Car Park and the Jindalee Home Improvement Complex (off the Western Freeway before the centenary bridge) All Suggestions welcome! Marc |

OK, instead of Macca's which sounds, A. Too fully sik for most, and B. To greater chance of running into cops, why dont' ya pic something else, something, shall we say, more 'original'....
How about a different Cold Rock every week!

"if we keep our cars legal"
you said it yourself nate - no BG will pass an emmissions test, there too old. And you and I both know who elese isent passing a defect check. I really, really want to stay away from milton maccas / aspley kinda arangements, too many drunk idiots that are going to start trouble for my liking. Id prefer to get something more concrete down, say bunnings every friday followed by nebo then food or somesuch. |
