K&N Panel Filter

Hi Guys

I was wondering what sort of a difference a replacement K&N Panel filter will make to my SP20? What sort of differences will there be and how will i notice them??

mine was just smoother...others have seen a 3-4hp increase or summin

i noticed a bitter better response down low in my BG....coulda been the CAI as well though

mine makes a whoosh noise at about 3500 rpm, thats without CAI, mines just a 1.8 BA so an sp20 may have a bit more effect....

Did a search on the K&N website.

They do not have replacement filters for V6 KFZE. They only have 1.6L and 1.8L.

Maybe a mazda 626 filter element will fit into KFZE, since both are using the same V6 engine.

No, they do make one for the Astina V6. Part number is KN33-2026

yep.

1997 MAZDA 323 2.0L L4 F/I - All Automotive Air Filter 33-2026
lists it as for a 4cyl but it's the same part number.
