New guy from WA
Hi folks,
Thought I'd better do the righty and say g'day. I've posted only a couple of times to see how it all works and..I like it. Plenty of info and a laugh to boot. I've just bought a BA 1.8 manual (and just found out it was "green"). Doh! Thought it looked blue! Doesn't matter...I'm lovin it. These are possibly one of the sexiest cars around and the standard fitout is a real suprise. Never owned a Mazda (Commodore/Corolla/Liberty/Outback) but I think I've started something good... Still gettin used to getting in and out of a "small" car (6'1" and 130 something kilos) without cracking me head and getting the size 13s stuck under the dash when gettin out! I've successfully managed to rip out some wiring (stereo) from under the dash by catching my shoes under there already...it's like a freak show...especially when the missus (5'2" has been driving it and doesn't put the seat back!! Laugh... I'm trying to sort it all out and get hummin along. The guy who had it before me didn't take too much care of it and it wasn't garaged judging by the amount of "mulch" in the bottoms of the front quarter panels (probably lived under a tree at a guess). Anyway, hopefully I get clued up enough to start contributing rather than asking. Thanks for having me aboard. Big Al
