My G-Tech Results

One of my mates got a G-tech the other day and he tested out some cars. A G-tech is some thing that records 1/4 mile, 0-60mph, hp and various other ratings and times.

I got:

16.6 sec 1/4 mile
8.4 sec 0-60mph

From what I gather from this other astina driver, it is an average time. I was just wondering if anybody else has tested thier cars or if anybody has any real results that I can compare with(not factory/company claims).

Some other results we got were

SSS Pulsar

17 sec 1/4 mile
9 sec 0-60mph

Supra Mark II, (the one before the current shape)

19 sec 1/4 mile

Lancer Gl

20 sec 1/4 mile

but I thought the SSS would have gotten faster but could be a driver problem.

Supra just done another run,

17 sec 1/4 mile

A Silva S12 CA18 T

16.8 1/4 mile
8.8 0-100

But he did the biggest burnout, it looked like he had no traction at all, checked later he had plastic tyres on the back.

What i'm after is someother astina's results cos i have nothing to compare it with.

The best and most accurate times would be at the drags. Untill then g-tech times are provisional

Mines not even an SP.

i got a run for ya though...this was taken on Saturday at dusk. After 6 months of owning the car, I've finally gotten it to a stage where it's reliable again. This is the 1st 1/4mile run I've done since owning it.

hey rob id be really interested to know what ur car gets on a G-Tech.....

i tested mine a few weeks ago (before an injector thaught it was a good idea not to put fuel in)

conditions were: wet weather, full tank, loose cooler pipe, 2 people

0-400m (1/4mile) 15.2sec @ 93mph
0-100kph 7.2sec

i was wraped, but im sceptical of the G-Tech, the scale isnt the same as what u get on a strip etc...

Sometimes we just need to remember what the rules of life really are:
You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape
If it doesn't move and should, use WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use Duct Tape.

If anybody is in canberra, I can arrange a g'teching...

I think the strip would be better than g-tech cause the conditions are better on the drag way. And all the scroes can be normallised(ithink) then.

We do G-Tech's all the time in Canberra. The good old eunos 800M does a 15.43 in stock form on a cold night.

What colour is your SP?
