![]() Had my car brought in to Penfold Mazda to rectify that problem. Apparently, the brakes calipers pins are sliding around due to wear and tear. He said some grease will ease off the sound. He also said that this is a common problem among the Astinas. They had it greased but the sound still occurs. Is this true? Have anyone of you encountered this problem before?() |

![]() threatening doesn't get a recall so now we have to pay for it. Make sure you get the pins that were designed to fix the clunk not the original part number. Regards Mal()

![]() brakes noise. *I only get it when reversing ?? *Mazda is the place you just need to be clear that you have the clunk and need the pins that fix it. *I think from last time this was raised they were about $80 a corner so its your decision. Get the price from Mazda and let us know again. *Part number would be good to so we can write it down in the mods section. Regards Mal()

![]() ![]() Very embarassing. Penfold Mazda said that there are not original parts but they do have modified pins to fit. I will call them tomorrow to check on the price. Are there any other defects on this beautiful car? The defect reminds me of a hot girl who fartsss ![]() ![]() |

![]() Sorry for the much delayed reply. I called Penfold Mazda in Burwood, Vic for the cost of replacing the slides. It is A$150 for all 4 brakes and it include labour costs. Interested??() |

![]() To have this problem fixed for $150, well I was told more like $200 per quater. I think I like the sound of the prior.()
