welcome from scotland.
black one eh? nicey!!!
mine has got 17"x7" with a 38mm offset and theres about 5mm clearance between the wheel and the rear struts. it`s also lowered 35mm and the only prob i had was n/s/f tyre was rubbing the inner plastic wheel arch trim thingy. sorted this with a cable tie. i reckon mine could be lowered about another 15 to 20mm without rubbing but i`ve only got 205 tyres. i think 215`s would rub the wheel arch.
but go for it!!! and get the pix on the forum toot sweet!!!
C`MON THE BGer`s!!!!!

There's a guy selling some 17" versions of these rims on www.fordlaser.com on this thread: http://www.fordlaser.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17592

17's would be just as good, use the spare cash to drop it more

yeh, 17"s are cool and to be honest i think 18"s would give you grief unless you had very stiff suspension.
but i still wanna see it done!!!!
do it man, and piccies please!!!

As long as you don't go any wider than 215's you should be ok. I get scrub when I'm throwing it round corners. If I have people in the back it will scrub when going round a round-a-bout.

But besides that, the handling is great!

Thinking about throwing some 18's on my BG astina also, but i don't want any of this scrubing, which guards are you guys saying have to be liped, cause i have already liped the back ones.

Also can someone with 18's on there bg measure the gap between tire and guard , trying to work out weather the scraping issue is cause the car is 2 low.

What is it scraping on ?? Guards or is it hitting the bump stops??
